It expresses the broad view he has of modern education and is particularly appropriate in a comprehensive high school as is ours. . When a boy Mr Condon was a sailor and it may be that it was on the great expanses of the ocean that he developed his farsightedness. He has told us that years ago he had visions of just such a school as ours while in his mind s eye he builded it. We are glad that his dreams have become realities and we would have him know how grateful we are to he able to enjoy the fruits of his thought and effort. --E. D.
