The credit for our undoubtcd success goes to Mr. Horton for his ability and patience, and to the student body and teachers who furnished us with new uniforms. The band numbers about twenty-five regular-attending, hard-working boys from D to the A grades. VVc started on our way at the football games, not miss- ing one home game. When the school saw our willingness and ability, they gave till it hurtn and fitted us up in fine orange and black uniforms. Our first concert was given before the school to show off the new suits. After that we played regularly at the basketball games. Then came a serious handicap. We had planned to give a concert the pro- ceeds of which were to go toward next year's band. Unfortunately Mr. Horton btcaxkne seriously ill and this idea had to be dropped. E? FU E ... rg? OE 5.-. C-5 5-1-0- 'Dv-h 22' 5:- N EL: Ha:- 963 FU' FE.
