We organized early in the year and meetings have followed once a month since. And the nice part about it is, the meetings take the place of recita- tions. It's really interesting to sing Latin songs which have been sung by students for years. Then we have Latin recitations, and papers read, pertaining to Latin. All together we have a jolly good time. IRWIN DIETZ Faculty Adviser ............................................. C. R. WALKER HE Industrial Arts Club of East High School held its first meeting December 6, 1921. The constitution was submitted to Principal E. D. Lyon and lur. C. R. Walker, head of the department, and after their approval, was adopted by the club. The purpose of the club is: first. to bring its members into close touch with the business men and manufacturing concerns of the city, or in other words, the world outside of the school, the world each of the members must face sooner or later; second, to give the members a broader and fuller conception of industry as a means of choosing a V0 'ation; and third, to bring the members 0f the club into closer contact with each other in such a manner as will be for the ad 'aneement of not only the Industrial Arts department but also. all of East High School. In order to keep in Close touch with all the members. home room representa- tives were appointed.
