Mr. H. W. McKeIvey Mr. H. W. McKelvey was pro- moted to Superintendent of the Portsmouth School System after serving five years as Principal at Portsmouth High School. This year Mr. McKelvey is completing his sixth year as superintendent. Mr. McKe1vey is doing a splendid job and he is to be complimented on his leadership and fine under- standing. He received his A. . I ,gp 1 Mr. Teachnor W. Smith. Principal of East High. Mr. Smith is completing his fourteenth year as principal of East High School. He has been associated with East High for thirty years. He serves as advisor for the Student Council and is always willing to help the students with problems that arise. Mr. Smith received his A. B. degree from Ohio University and his M. A. degree from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Smith, along with the other faculty mem- bers, is looking forward to the addition of a new auditorium, gymnasium at East High. 13
