During the year they participated in ath- letic events by playing tor the home toot- ball games and one outeot-town game and by organizing a pep band tor the basket- ball games. Several ot the band members attended the Southeastern Ohio Band Fes- tival at lronton this year. The band took part in various parades in Portsmouth. The bana members and band boosters worked together during the year to raise money tor new uniforms. Several oi the activities undertaken were Tag Day, a Spring Conf cert, a dance, and a minstrel. Margaret Plummer Margaret was the leader ot the East High Band this year. She led the band in all the activities ot the year which included marching at the halves ot the football games, and in various parades. This is Margare-t's last year as our Drum-Major and we wish to express our appreciation to her tor the tine job she did.
