Introduction As time slowly passes by, we must face the future which awaits our presence. We have grown and changed throughout our years at East High School. Now we are ready to take our first step into the world of opportunity. We must leave East High School and start anew, just as we must someday leave our home and start a new life of our own. We have faced and conquered many challenges throughout our youth, which helped us to grow stronger and wiser. East High School has been that foundation in our youth. As time grants us a new day, so too let us welcome a new future and share past memories as we are now shining through with the class of 1982. The Search Now is the time to search for a new beginning — A time of remember whens, but also a time to look ahead. We have achieved one of our longed for goals And are now looking for a new dimension, A dimension of happiness or sorrow, we do not know. For there are many ifs and buts in this world. Which we have to seek out and conquer. Now we must depend on our own resources. Childhood pranks and pleasures give way to a world of reality and goals that must be met. In our forthcoming efforts to face those obstacles which lay ahead. We must be strong and willing; Willing to work and willing to try that which may be harder than anything else we have ever known. We are here now, willing to search for our place in the world that we have prepared for and that awaits us. — Susan Rupp Class of 1982
