Foreword The Sunrise Staff of Sixty-One Has worked to record the things we've done. We’ve listed every good report In tests, in class, on field, on court. This foreword, done in words not few, You now are reading on page two. The administration and faculty You'll find beginning on page three. Our Seniors, full of spirit and joys, Start page eleven — both girls and boys. Next are honors (quite a few) Given for service tried and true. Organizations big and small Begin their work anew each fall. Underclassmen in single guise The rest of our student body comprise. Our warriors and maidens do their best To meet every physical education test. Now we have reached the hundredth page Hoping your memories to engage. Dedication Miss McMahon whom everyone knows Is always busy and on her toes. She teaches Latin I and II Doing the best she can for you. Chaperoning many a dance, She’s always there and not by chance. Every year a banquet we’d hold All remembering the myths that were told; Like Romans of old we reclined and dined Keeping the Latin festivities in mind. Recognized by her auburn hair, She is very smart and debonair. Friendly in manner, courteous, kind, She is gay in spirit and keen in mind.
