HAROLD D. LEBERMAN Mr. Leberman has proven to be one of our best friends, from seventh grade up to the Senior year. At the beginning of first period he can be seen standing in front of the office with a friendly smile on his pleasant face. He is interested in our problems, no matter how trivial, and is always willing to give a little helpful information. We at East High, are fortunate in having such a pleasant personality at the head of our school. Some days he appears a little tired but never too tired to inguire about our studies and activities. The fact that he has been at East for only three years, has not prevented his becoming acquainted with the names of the students. We all admire him for placing our good points in front of our shortcomings. n o

The position of assistant principal requires rare tact, unusual fairness, and calm judgment. It calls for the patience of Job and the insight of a psychologist. Years of training and experience have given Miss Gerboth and Mr. MacDonald their full quota of these qualities. Daily we hear instances where they have used them wisely in the guiding and directing of some boy or girl.
