QCQLUQ OFVLWLLJJLOVLJ LVL QVLIALZI' 1-low proud we were to enter East l-hgh srx years ago' 1-low proud we are to recelve our commlssxon from 1t' For three years our group of bew1ldered boys and grrls were roolues We drd nothmg outstandmg durmg th1s ttme but we felt good to know that we were dolng our part T1me passed gurckly and we were sophomores We were growmg up and were allowed to 1o1n some of the orgamzatlons We were guxte a slght the day we were 1n1t1ated 1nto the M Club and the 1-11Y When we became 1un1ors we organ1zed our class and began to sponsor some socral events A few dances after school and a skatmg party or two started to bulld up a treasury lust to thmk The 121 semester was not too excltmg although we held our soclal events regularly successfully too But 122 was off lrke a shot out of a cannon Frrst came the electxon of offrcers The f1rst g1rl presldent m many a semester took offlce After the class was orgamzed and the boys had gu1eted down we made plansfor the banquet the prom and graduatlon The f1rst problem and the greatest was the guestlon of money Thls delrcate sub1ect caused many a heated dlscussfon After the plans were started comm1ttees and everyone else mcludrng Mr Coon were ID a d1ther At last came graduatlon and one of the smallest but bravest l1ttle classes was graduated w1th colors flymg As we leave we say Lets GIVE Three Cheers for Qur East 1-hgh Three Cheers for the Scarlet and Gray 12 9 ? . , that we were earning money gave us a thrill. 1 ' ' ,
