Born in Spokane, Washington, Mrs. Milloy celebrates her birthday on April Qth. ln accordance with her hopes of entering the teaching profession she studied at Oberlin University. East High School was fortunate in obtaining her aid in making the sos called dead language, Latin, live. Mrs. Milloy is never too busy to solve the problems of a puzzled student or to assist with school functions. Under her guidance the Honor Society has become a reality and the aim of every student. Her pastimes are domesticfsewing and her Uten children. In world affairs she is vitally interested and always knows what's what in current news. The accuracy of her predictions as to the outcome of world crises is known to many of her pupils. Readers Digest, Geographic, Post, Time and Scribner's, in her opinion, rate highest in pick-up literature. Every Tuesday evening she turns the radio dial to Ulnformation, Please. Motoring seems to be her favorite mode of travel, for she has extensively explored the New England states by car. Qualifications for a good student, she insists, include obedience, honesty and conscientiousness. We do not know of a more sincere, sympathetic, or charming person than Mrs. Milloy. To her the students of East High School owe the success of many delightful social functions. J- ln Qctober of l939 Mr. Coon came to East High School as our new principal. His administrative ability and his keen interest in the Welfare of East High School have Won the sincere admiration of both the faculty and the student body.
