The illustrious alumni of East High, and its predecessor in name Pawtucket High, were the leaders who founded our city and guided its subsequent growth. The story of Pawtucket is their story. What- ever measure of success we as a city may have had, we owe in large measure to them. On this glorious anniversary we salute East High School, its students, its faculty, and all its graduates! Our sincere wish is that East High may continue to grow in stature and in service to its students, and continue to be a strong force for good in our city. Yours sincerely, JZ Lawrence A.
