When the weekend arrives, students come to life and are ready to roll After a long week of school, students are always very anxious for the weekend t o arrive. The 2:40 p.m. time on Fridays means freedom from school for two days. On Friday nights students go to the football or basketball games. After the game is over, some are found at Pizza Hut or scooping the loop. A lot of students use Saturday morn- ings to catch up on some sleep; however, some students have to get up early and go to work. Some go shopping at the malls on Saturday afternoons. On Satur- day nights some go to movies, but those who are involved in school activities may have a meet or game. Some can be found at parties or eating out. On Sundays most students go to church or use this day to do their home- work. On Sunday nights some go to Mike Ts, which is a lounge for teens only. It is open for teens any day of the week. This is a place where teens can dance to their favorite music and meet other people from different schools. Senior Kenny Burgess studies hard at the library. Senior Raquel Larson tries to be sly by teepeeing someone without getting caught. 6 WEEKENDS
