In Class. In an average high school, being In Class may be bor- ing, mind boggling, tedious and point- less. East High is not an average high school. Being In Class at East is challenging, dramatic, fun and adven- turous. For example, how many high schools have a teacher who has pet guinea pigs in his classroom, such as our very own Mr. Ray Patrilla, biol- ogy teacher, pictured at left? How many teachers are there who swap recipes in the audio-visual room? Still, there are other teachers who have to be dragged screaming and kicking into the twentieth century. The teaching styles are varied throughout East High School. To make the ncws game more interest- ing, a teacher designed a football lield on the overhead. The class was then divided into two teams and tried to score touchdowns by answering questions about the past week's news events. Whatever the teaching style is, East High is the place to be when one wants to be ln Class IN IN i ND Nl IN CLASS 25
