' Libra: Balance Of Victory Libra: Balance of Victory was the theme of Homecoming 1969-70. Money for the $70 Homecoming float was raised through the Miss Ugly Con- test sponsored by Pep Club. Homecoming activities includ- ed the alumni assembly at which Cindy Stuchis was crowned 1969-70 Queen. Her attendants were Princesses Jill Alsted and Sue Paterson. A parade downtown took place immediately after the assem- bly. The Homecoming Dance, held here on Saturday night, October 11, lasted from 8 to 1 1 p.m. The Pendeltons provided dancing entertain- ment, while East High Scarlet Singers provided an intermis- sion performance. Ribbons and mum corsages helped to extend the spirit of Homecoming 1969-70. 1969-70 Homecoming Queen Cindy Stuchis Princess: Sue Paterson Princess: Jill Alsted — 12—
