The council sold calendars, Homecoming tickets, little mums for the girls to wear on the day of Homecoming, and student directories. This provided enough money to put a substan- tial sum in our treasury. Instead of being elected from the home- rooms, they were elected from the social science classes. This change was made so that more interest and discussion might be generated than had been previ- ously seen in the limited home- room period.
