New Addition And Parking Lot For EHS After being leveled, the site of East ' s new parking lot is ready for surfacing The new addition being planned for East High will include a new library, eight classrooms, two conference rooms, an instructional classroom, and an audio-visual room. The addition will cost ap- proximately $476,000 and will have about 23,000 square feet. The library, which makes up about one-third of the total area of the project, will provide for 20,- 000 volumes and have 8,057 square feet of floor space. The new parking lot will replace the five houses south of Walker on East 13th Street. The lot will cover 32,000 square feet and will be covered with crushed rock. The new oddition to East High is neoring completion. The newly developed parking lot for EHS is well underway. East High can be seen in the background. —3—
