I TROD CTIO The scroll of time contains the records 'of our lives. Memories of friends we have made, pleas- ures we have had, and joys we have lived through the years form the pages of this Quill. Lest we should forget, we pause from time to time and turn the pages of this book to live again past thrills, remember friends, and recall pleasant memories. As we walk down the steps of East High for the last time, we realize that we areclos- ing a chapter in our lives. For some of us, college lies aheadg many others will go di- rectly into the world as full-fledged members of society. But one thing is true of all of us.' we are all on our own now. For, after graduating from high school, we will leave our parents and face life alone, standing on our own merits. Wherever we go, whatever we do, may we always remember to con- duct ourselves as befitting a graduate of East High School, making no blem- ishes on her name.
