GQLDEIELD NEWS A school is known by its journal, and East is no excep- tion. The Scroll Stott deserves high merit for their excellent work on our school poper this semester. No gold miner of '49 worked harder panning gold than these busy boys ond girls do gleaning stories and pictures for our enjoyment. They are capably ossisted by their faculty advisors. These are Kenneth Strotton, Charles Springote, and Harriet Macy. The worthy Scroll editor is Joon Eddleman. Editing a school poper is by no means an easy job. There are many jobs completely unknown to the average person. Much time, writing, and brain-wracking is necessary before an article can be furnished that will till the bill.
