Faculty At EAST HIGH SCHOOL the faculty is made up of sixty-five members. These teachers, many of whom have studied in some of the largest universities and colleges in the United States, are highly qualified not only as high school teachers, but also as teachers of college subjects. Their years of experience have made them due authorities on the subjects that they are teaching and have taught them the art of dealing with all types of students. Aside from their teachings of school room classes, our coaches direct our spirited athletic teams. In the handling of extra-curricular ac- tivities the teachers of East are to be commended, for they are giving up their valuable time for the pleasure of the students who have other interests besides those to be found in the class room. The following subjects are taught at East: English, Dramatics, Journalism, Speech, Mathematics, Short- hand, Typing, Science, Bookkeeping, Commercial Law, Commercial Geography, Mechanical Drawing, Art, Home Economics, Wood Work, Auto Mechanics, Print- ing, Choir, Band, Orchestra, French, Spanish, Latin, Social Studies, and Physical Education.
