ang H5925 Three East High teachers. Miss Patterson, Miss Balliet, and Miss Iordan instruct pupils in Latin. Spanish. and French. Students learn Latin by reading short stories about the ancient Romans. A good understanding of Latin grammar helps immeasurably with English. French One learns Spanish by reading and studying short stories about the Spanish people. In the French classes pupils read French stories. use French textbooks and read novels about France. Learning languages this way helps students ac- quire a cultural interest of the old world.
