Everyone loves a circus the lilting tunes of the carrousal, the gay, colorful parade, the slow, lumbering elephants and wild, snarling lions are all a part of that joyous adventure. And who could ever forget the proud, prancing white horses, or the bearded lady, or the daring trapese artists? The circus is a symbolee a symbol of all the carefree abandon, the unbridled pleasures of youth. Now in our nation's present state of turmoil, many of these frivolous amusements have been forsaken for more serious pur- suits. It will naturally be hard to recapture that former light-heartednessg but just as inevitably as the dashing lion trainer and whimsical clowns will always remain a bright, sunny spot in our memories, so with spring the circus will return again. 44? lm JITIIIW fll I!
