A Q£ Dona Id , Maha n Cappiello, Burke JUNK 1035 CLASS HISTORY Four years ago we were freshmen—plenty fresh! Nothing phased us; not even homework, done on a cooperative plan—you do it, and I ' ll copy. Our first social event—a Hallowe’en party brought forth our terpsichorian prowess. The decor¬ ations were wrecked, and a good time was had by alh Then came the success of our “Junior Clarion,” and finally spring and freedom! Funny—but Sophs at the Main Building are greener than Frosh at t the Annex. Do you remember the weak feeling when after half a period in a class, it was the wrong room? One bright spot—assemblies, especially upper-class assemblies when there was back home-work to be done. How many clubs did we crack w T ilh no perceptible result? Would anyone admit feeling insignificant even now? Why do Juniors always get conceited? Maybe it’s the awakening stage. At least, we emerged somewhat, from that awful obscurity of soph year. M. L. E. made its debut, the Frolics were established, and the Classie Classics were born. Much bad language about a heart-breaking game we lost to Geneva! And then exams! But we survived. How time flies—maybe Senior year is best, after alh Even considering the dis¬ appointment of losing the basketball championship to Madison. The Frolics this year grew—congratulations and sympathy to Hod Cowles. And then those things, ’specilly our own Senior Play, etc. And so the class of June, 1935! Here wc are, starting out with Rochester on her second century of progress. Behold us—the bloomin’ flower of the Century Plant. And don’t blame us if this is the best that could be done—even in a hundred years. We warned you there was no use trying! —Elya Baer CLASS ADVISORS Margaret A. Ruf, Richard M.
