DEDICATION The East High School graduating class of 1986 takes pleasure in dedicating this yearbook to Tony Wilcox, an outstanding science teacher, an excellent basketball coach, a dedicated senior advisor, and a true friend. In honor of this dedication. Mr. Wilcox offers these words to the class of 1986: There is much knowledge that we possess, but the more we learn the more we learn we know nothing. No one can reveal to you that which you do not wish to know, for every man is the owner of his mind and his effort, building his world in his own image. He has the power to choose, but not the power to escape the necessity of choice. One must be responsible for one’s own errors. Have concept of what you want, a knowledge of what to value, for there is a choice of what to seek. Every man learns in his own way and time. These past few years should have been constructive years, laying the foundation upon which to build yesterday's dreams. You leave behind old friends and fond memories, but soon you will make new friends, develop a new purpose, and become ready to make yesterday’s dreams today’s reality. Seniors. I congratulate you on your achievements, and look forward to you having long and prosperous careers. Tony Wilcox
