Your three years here with their problems, struggles, and accomplishments will be always a source of pleasant and proud memories. At this moment memories of the past seem insig- nificant when compared to the uncertainties and challenges of the future but many years hence they will occupy an important position among your pos- sessions. We of the faculty who have dedicated much of our lives to East High and its contributions to youth will leave with a nostalgic feeling of loss and a consciousness of emptiness which only the memories of our former students can assuage.
