Girls in the home economics department gain knowledge to help them in their dual careers. Members of the cooking classes actually buy and prepare foods. Sewing students design and sew their own creations, then display them to the student body in their annual style show. Courses in home economics, child development, home and family living, and interior decorating are offered to meet the additional needs of girls.
