Supplementing the basic English courses, world literature, English literature, and college reading are offered for those students who wish to increase their reading comprehension. Students en- rolled in journalism and English compo- sition improve writing skills. In its second year at East, advanced placement English gives outstanding college-bound Aces an opportunity to validate English for a col- lege credit. COLD SHOWERS aren't the nicest things to wake up to as Terry Doty, ,65, demonstrates in a panto- mine for dramatics class.
