GIVING AID TO STUDENTS when choosing between a career or college, helping with college board examinations, and ad- vising about scholarships are responsibilities of Mrs. Gladys Leland, senior counselor. Attendance, school, personal, and vocational problems of students are handled by East's counselors. Mrs. Gladys Leland is senior coun- selor, Mr. Walter Herriman offers counsel to the juniors, and Mrs. Edith Worthington aids the sophomores. In addition to these, East has an attendance counselor, Mr. Samuel Parzybok, and a vocational counselor, Mr. Richard Elving.
