All assemblies had to be duplicated as the Sophomore class was as large as the Junior and Senior class combined. HE class of '25 was the Hrst to enter the old high school as Sophomores, During this year a get acquainted St. Patrick's Party was given, where games were played in the halls and a play entitled The Two Dicks presented in the auditorium. By the next year, 1924, the new high school was finished where all the students of the school could enjoy assemblies at the same time. Junior-Senior Frolic was held in the Spring: the program consisted of con- tests and a series of vaudeville acts presented by members of both classes. A number of Juniors decorated the Forum and ushered at the graduating exercises of the class of '24. As Seniors, the class took part in many activities. The first party to be given was a Christmas party. Afterwards came Kid Day which was different from any idea before presented at W. H. S. All the Seniors appeared in school wearing kiddie clothes. A Senior Day was also enjoyed consisting of a long assembly in the morning followed by a picnic at Sirn's Park ending in a line party at the Miller Theater. Football, basketball, tennis, soccer, wrestling and tumbling were all entered into by the members of this class. Near the close of school the usual custom of having a Senior Banquet was followed, also that of uniform dress in the graduating exercises held at the Forum. There were over four hundred fifty members of the class. 26
