Refrigerator After a 75-year voyage through the solar system HalIey's Comet has returned to view. This is it's 30th recorded visit since Edmond Halley discovered it in 1682. With the aid of modern scientific instruments and satellites, we o , . will learn more about all comets than in the entire history of comet science. To astronomers a comet is a sort of flying museum stocked with precious artifacts from the very earliest moment of the solar system. These scientists hope that by peering into HaIley's cold heart and sniffing out the dust and gases that stream from it's surface, they can discern the conditions that existed at the birth of the sun and the nine planets some 4.5 billion years ago. The Craft Has Exploded Nothing seemed amiss when the Space Shuttle Challenger thundered off the launching pad and thrust itself into a cold, clear Florida sky. In a grandstand below, jubilant third graders from Concord, N.H. hoisted a Go Christa banner in tribute to a classmates mother, one of the seven crew members. In less than a minute, the space craft was 10 miles high, moving East at close to 2,000 mph. But then at maximum Q the moment of greatest stress the Challenger was engulfed in a roaring orange cloud. In Houston, the computer screens at mission control abruptly froze, each line of data ending in an S for static indicating that no more information was coming in, reporting everyone dead. Aboard the Challenger were 7 astronauts, Mike Smith, EI Onizaka, Dick Scohee, Greg Jarvis, Judy Resnik, Ron McNair, and Christa McAuliffe. Space travel had become to seem so routine but whatever happened to Challenger brought an end to an age of innocence. Tragically the odds finally caught up with the space program. Tylenol Firm Stop 's Making All Capsules Fads and Fashion Fads and Fashion are important to the Bears. Here at East we have many fine dressers. These are some of the most popular and least popular clothing worn at East. Fashionable Fads Paisley Design Pastel colors Guess Jeans Flower Jeans Stretch Pants Stirrups Forenza Sweaters Big Blouses Sweater dresses Reeboks Air Jordan Swatch Cwatchl Rhinestones Gucci Bag Faded Fads vs. Polka dots, stripes, and plaids vs. Florescent colors . Jordache' Faded Jeans Leather Pants Short Cropped pants Argyle Sweaters Polo Shirts Mini Skirts Kaepas Converse Timex Pearls vs Clutch Bag As you know, there have been tragic events regarding Extra Strength Tylenol Capsules. A number of people have died or been severe- ly injured by the capsules that were appar- ently filled with cyanide. The Tylenol Compa- ny offered, at their expense, to replace or give refunds to people who purchased the capsules The company has announced that It will no longer produce Tylenol In capsule form They hope to rebuild the lost capsule market with less tamper prone caplets and capsules To think that some one would tamper with medication and endanger the llves of others IS an outrageous act 7: Zip X A fm s, -. -f 1 f if it It is an honor for the Eastonian to pay a special tribute f V ' ,,,. to Mr. Harris as he begins his retirement.
