They aid students in course selection and evaluate career interests and choices. The counselors also offer recommendations to colleges and potential employers according to provisions of student records. They confer with the parents whenever necessary. ENGLIS ALZATE, GILBERTO Miss Taber prepares her blindfold. A BUDD, GENE A variety of english classes are offered at East. Everything from Basic English to Creative Writing. There are two language classes offered. Spanish is taught by Mr. Alzate and French is taught by Mr. Ford. There are two English classes serving the school. The Echo staff publishes the school newspaper and the Yearbook staff publishes the Eastonian Yearbook. With all these fine classes, our English department is second to none.
