The cafeteria workers come in very early to prepare a breakfast, which most schools in the Kansas City area do not have. They worked arduously daily, preparing nutritious meals for the students and faculty of East High School. Student Life This year has been one of many different experiences. The bussing of students seemed to involve the lives of everyone. Those bussed into East High faced the problem of meeting new people and finding their way around in a new environment. The students from East had to readjust their views to students with different loyalties. In general the necessary adjustments were made. Strangers became friends, school rivalries were discarded. The 1977-78 yearbook is dedicated to all the students of East High School for their spirit, cooperation and ability to make a go of what was said to be totally impossible. Congratulations and be proud!! You did it!! “With a little help from Cheryl, Mike peeks for a solution.” Keep those love letters going! 24
