Mr. Fred Heine, the knot that held East High School together, did not have an easy task. Pulling together the strands of a high school, students, faculty and other staff members, took someone trustworthy and likeable. The main concern of the vice-principals at East High School was to keep things under control and running smoothly. Mr. William White was in charge of most hall sweeps. Mr. William Love spent a great deal of time in the office with the conference card lists, and Mr. William Ridley was in charge of student schedules, thus forming a solid, efficient system. 1.
