RIGHT: East R.O.T.C. participated with other area units ri the Library Memorial Veterans' Day parade. T. C. year R.O.T.C. had three annual events throughout the school year. The annual R.O.T.C. ball was held at the Missouri National Guard Ar- mory. It was an all-city ball with five different schools attending. A large amount of the year is spent preparing for the federal in- spection, held in the spring. The students were inspected and queried about their equipment and procedures. The R.O.T.C. students also pare ticipated in field day in May. They competed against all Kansas City schools. LEFT: Don Landry directed the color guard in groundabreaking ceremonies at ARMCO Steel.
