Mr. Frank Steigler Mr. Brian Hortle Fulbright Scholarship Teacher Exchange Mr. Frank Steigler. physics and general science teacher at Fast, left the United States in August to spend a year in Lancaster. Tasmania, engaged in a teacher exchange program under the Fulbright Scholarship award. In exchange. Fast welcomed Mr. Brian A. Hortle from Lancaster. Mr. Hortle has a B.A. degree, a B.S. degree, and a Diploma of Education, which is equivalent to a Master's Degree in the United Slates. Mr. Hortle had many first impressions of the United Slates. He found the people to be very friendly, and more or less as I expected them to be. Also, he felt that the students were much like those back in Queechy High School except for one main difference — their informality of dress was rather shocking.” This is understandable since students at Queechy are required to wear uniforms. Mr. Hortle plans to travel over many parts of the world befor returning home next year to resume teaching at Queechy High. 28
