Mr. C. O. Williams, Principal The principal of East high school, Mr. C. O. Wil- liams, is a friendly, poised, and well-learned gentle- man who accepts his responsibilities willingly. One of his many obligations is to his students whom he is ready to help in any way possible. Mr. Williams greets his students with a happy smile and a friendly tap on the shoulder. His amiable at- titude and disposition have gained him many student friends never to be forgotten. Since the beginning of his career as a principal in l945, Mr. Williams has served his school well. With sincere interest in each student and his activities, he promotes school spirit with pride.

Clayton Dickson does much to make our school nm smoothly. lt is our vice-principal who helps the proctors conduct students to and from the cafeteria in an orderly manner, who acts as master of cere- monies for many of our assemblies, and who, on occasion, acts as a one-man grievance committee for faculty and students alike. When his regular duties are completed. Mr. Dick- son finds time to help pupils with those little things which make school life a time to remember. With his friendly attitude and easy-going manner, Mr. Dickson has gained the respect and friendship of the faculty and students at East high school. fnunrl in llw uurlilvriuln.
