Two new branches are also being planned for the Plaza and at Linwood and Troost. Some of the features the East Branch Library offers are the showcase, bulletin board, children's special department, and varied collections of books dis- played for each season The showcase has been a landmark in East high school for several years. liastsiders display their col- lections or hobbies which is usually a main attracr tion. Mrs. Eubanks, Mrs. Campbell, and Mrs. Watson all shared in the responsibility of keeping records, absence and tardy reports, lending lunch money to forgetful students, ringing the bell, typing, and taking care of the mail, All these tasks were performed efficiently und expertly to aid in running our school smoothly. l l l ,l Keeping hooks orderly is the ich of Charles Bate- man, as cn adult page, Office Staff .mawtfrm Time to work for Mrs. Campbell as she types up the home room bulletin while Jean Ann Cunningham and Mrs. Watson help keep the office running smoothly. Any time that Mr. Williams, Mr. Stephens, or Miss Stewart wanted anything done, they could always go to the office workers and be sure it would be done. Their courteous and easy-going manner remained con- stant throughout the day. However, it wasn't all work for these busy ladies. Any time a special occasion rolled around, there could al- ways be found food and celebrating in the office. Both students and faculty members alike could rely on the dependable office workers to help them at any time. Checking out beoks to these students is Mrs. Carol Miller, who is in charge of the Teen-age department. 9
