as W RILK Loves - ,- E g,.. Larry Richards S.A.E. President An outstanding graduating class is leaving and new stu- dents will be coming to our halls for the Hrst time. This happens every year at East, but only once in my life will I have been so honored as to have held the trust of Presi- dent of the student body of this great school. In reflection, I have made many lasting and memorable friends and I have cherished the privilege of East. We have had our successes together in activities and we have known de- feat, but in the fine tradition of East we have bounced back with renewed spirit resulting in greater victories. I hope the Alumni, the world over, will acknowledge that we have carried their torch well this year, and East,s reputation continues as one of the great high schools in America. To my own graduating class, I trust this past three year experience has been an enjoyable one, and has inspired you to attain greater achievements in the years ahead. To those students returning next year, you now bear the torch of East High. Honor and respect it so that its light may keep shining brightly so that East will con- tinue to shine out above all the rest. To my fellow offi- cers, my sincere thanks for the unselish gift of your time and talents in order to make this year successful. May the 1969-70 year be an enjoyable one in your memory. God bless you all. fa ,afar
