MISS UTERMANN You found Dean Utermann on the job early every morning- writing home excuses, finding out who sluffed and why, helping with assemblies, and showing in every way her capabilities as a Dean. One of the talents of this popular Dean of Girls is cooking, her spe- cialty being sauerkraut. Eighteen MR. GARFF A champion hunter, a handsome and intelligent man, a very com- petent manager is none other than the Dean of Boys, Major Garff. His ability of handling the prob- lems of the boys that come to him have won him much renown throughout the city.

MR. WILSON You will remember C. Orin as the person who always got you so pepped up with his ardent talks in assemblies. Interestingness, in- telligence, politeness, and a desire to help were a few of the qualities that created for him such a host of devoted friends. M. LYNN BENNION Dr. Bennion's interest in students, in teachers, and the school problems pre- sented to him has proved him to be sin- cere in trying to help in every way. MERKLEY Mr. Merkley's job is to find the most effective curriculum for the Salt Lake City schools. You often saw him attending the football and bas- ketball games, cheering for his favorite team.
