The Seniors are the main strings in the orches- tra. Chief musicians this year were the president, William Horn, the vice-president, Carrie Brown, the secretary, Patricia Holmon and treasurer, Isaac Bolden. The girls' marshal was Parnee Martin, and the boys' marshal was Gerald Brown. Other officers included the historian, Cordon Waehrer, and the prophets, Susan Brown and William jerge. The poet was Judith Boczarska and Mary Loveless was valedictorian. Senior day was held on June 6 in the afternoon. At this time gold pins were given to the students who had attained a place on the Honor Roll for four years. That same evening in the Twentieth Century Club, the Senior Prom was held with great success. On the twenty- fo1u'th of june in the school auditorium, the Seniors received their long-anticipated diplomas. The graduating class of 1958 has contributed greatly to the various activities and sports of East High School. It is sincerely hoped that the seats vacat- ed by these senior musicians will be filled in the coming year by just as eager and co-operative players in the great orchestra of the school.
