Student Life ... an environment of experiences common to most students. It was figuring out computer schedules and report cards, no dress code, trying to get something from the vending machine, pie-throwing at the carnival, posters for everything, group one and two assemblies, competing between classes during Red and Grey, talent at East Side Swing, a bargain at the art auction, a passion flower on flower day, excitement of prom, the muddy, bumpy parking lot, and waiting for vacations. From orientation to commencement there was a variety of situations making the year special and different.

School Begins Amid Confusion And Crowds Undelivered relocatable classrooms forced classes to be held in the library. Here Mr. Boekhoff conducts a math class with the use of an overhead projector. i r,,.,. Students stand to sing the school song at the first all-school assembly in the gym. The first week of school? Well it was like: -waiting in line for an hour to see the counselor about a schedule change -filling out those cards in every single class -going to the library for class because the relocatables hadn't arrived -watching sophomores -skipping classes without get- ting caught -going home tired but happy and back into the swing of things Sophomores become orientated.
