Aewded One of the first projects of the Junior High Student Council was the annual P.T.A. membership drive. As a result of the Junior and Senior High councils combined drive, our P.T.A. membership was one of the highest in the state. Recognition day, NE Day, and Orientation Day were the highlights of the program carried out by the Junior High Student Council. On Recognition Day, officers of the council honor those who perform services to the school, NEW Day, in the Spring, those who earned points through extra-curricular activities, and Orientation Day, when the future seventh graders visit East to become acquainted with the building and the program of the school.
