The following items are left by the class as a whole: To Mr. Morehouse we leave our deepest appreciation. To the faculty we leave lifetime supplies of aspirin. To Mr. Morehouse, Miss Rice and the faculty members who helped us so much and without whose assistance the Arrow would not have been possible, we leave our heartfelt thanks. To the juniors we leave our Class's taste in fine cars and the other finer things in life. To the seventh grade we leave our reputation in hopes that they will attempt to emulate it. The following individuals, being the parties of the first part, leave to the parties of the second part, being members of the lower grades, the following items: Bill Reese leaves his basketball ability to joe Solon. Naida Kufs leaves her enviable driving skill to Gail Vulin. Al Thompson leaves his loud duals to Miss Hawley for her car. David Kent leaves his brain to posterity. Dick Goldman leaves his Tennis Talent to Al Hageman. Terry Milanette leaves his dancing ability to Bill Miller. Diane Doan leaves her ability for decorating the gym to Eleanor Burt. joe Wasileski leaves some of his height to Carol Schofield. John Langham leaves his Cadillacs to Mark Cranfield and Bill Colella. Bill Messer leaves his condolences to next year's editor-in-chief of the Arrow, Sue Bobbett leaves her jeep to Sue Steinborn for a second car. Nelson Kilmer leaves the headaches of next year's class will to some lucky junior. As executors of our will, we appoint Alvin, Theodore, and Simon. Class of 1959 A A EAST HIGH G. O. Faculty advisors, Miss Jones and Mrs. Hart, together with Editor Marley Bielefeld, provide stimulus for their staff, which this year has grown to fifty-seven members. A common sight in the halls of East High is.Marley running after her elusive reporters, prodding them to meet Blue Monday deadlines. This year's associate editors include Joyce Phalen-news, Diane Doan--features, Patricia Corcoran-news-nook, Elea- nor Burt-advertising, Margery Meier-alumni, Judith Densley and Richard Goldman-sports, Ann Collins-circulation, and Linda Pearcy-typewriting. Through their efforts We have repeatedly enjoyed an interesting and informative school paper. G. O. Backing the social activities of East High is the General Organization, the student government consisting of represen- tatives from each grade. The East Wind, the pep rallies, the Homemaking and Girls' Athletic Clubs are under its juris- diction. One of the main activities of the G. O. is the sponsoring of parties and dances. 40 ta ff of 'The East Winda' lDl'l'OR-lN-Cllllilf Marley llielefelrl N EXWS joy Phalen joan llorst Mary Skinner Nanry Marshall jane Oliker Betsy Randall Robert Lamb 1liA'l'URliS Diane Doan Susan liohhett Bill Harris Sharon Doan Linda Kresge Louise Lotkier Bill Lasher ALUMNI Marjory Meier Marcia Kubarek jean Springer Sharon Yablonsky Carol Hoffman NEWS NOOK Pat Corcoran Cynthia Bergan Carol Schofield Peggy Harris Patti Buckingham Susan Strong Sandra Dunklc PHOTOGRAPHY james Nelson SPORTS CIRCULATION Judy Densley Vivien Hutchings Dick Goldman 'Mary Reilly Bruce Berger Neil Cullen Bob Mentillo Linda Densley ADS Eleanor Burt jean Orser Bill Messcr Martha Keefc Sue Hoffman Brenda Kustyn Sheila Friedman Ann Collins Pat Wilson Bob Goldman Pat Conley Lee Okoniewski Marilyn Odell TY PI STS Linda Pearey joan Clay Linda Bronson Margaret Graney Vivien Hutchings Nancy Adams Doreen Graney Joyce Millen joan Penird Betty Putnam 4l 9 'V f YH ,, W 5, M' Q2 2 lm K Q . 1 f4 3 Q ff ' , if ,,. fl.: , 9 ' M H G s. 8 ffffh ., x m Q ' I s , N t J. w 2 f. x fx We w W 5' W !
