1962 PIONEER Published by THE SENIOR CLASS of East Haven High School East Haven, Connecticut ♦ FOREWORD For the past four years you have been the center of our daily lives, a lighthouse guiding us toward right decisions. You have given substance to the fragile dreams deep in our hearts. May this Pioneer serve as a symbol of the life we have known here, the rewarding experiences and the helpful heartaches. May it also symbolize our hopes, and the life we look to in the future. The East Haven Yellowjackets' unimpressive record of 8 wins — 10 losses ♦his year can be attributed to the loss of seniors through graduation and the inexperience of a team dominated by underclassmen. The fiery Easties fought all year long; but through some bad luck and the loss of one game too many, they were unable to participate in the Class B Tournament for the first time in 15 years. However, with the return next year of the entire first string unit and the advancement of a good Junior High School team, it is certain that East Haven High School will have successful seasons in basketball for many years to come.
