ROBERT ANDERSON GEORGE ALLEN ROBERT BOWDEN FREDERICK DOOLEY Department Head College Board Math Worcester Polytechnic Institute Trinity College University of Connecticut Exams Bowling Coach Chess Club Adviser Junior Class Ad Senior Standing Committee Chairman, Sophomore Class Adviser. viser National Honor Society Adviser, Tennis M14 7fifMf47lC.S' During our four years at East Hartford High all of us were exposed to some of the many math courses offered. The type and number of courses to which we were exposed depended upon our aptitude-s and chosen coursefcollege, business, or practical. Our senior class was the first to have the opportunity of electing Calculus, the most ad- vanced math course now offered at East Hartford High. Many of us elected Algebra l. Those success- ful in Algebra I and with a desire to continue into more advanced math, chose Plane Geometry, then Algebra ll, Solid Geometry, Trigonometry and finally Calculus. Those not electing the more specialized courses in Mathematics, chose Review Math or Practical Math. Regardless of the amount of math courses in which We indulged, all of us were required to pass Mr, Anderson's well-known lOO-problem test before graduation. XIAY .xx Algebra I can be a bit confusing at times.
