To members of the Class of 1955: You, who are the first class to graduate from the new high school, have had the benefit of increased facilities and of addi- tions to the curriculum made possible by the spaciousness of this magnificent structure. But even more important are the fine ethical principles which have formed the basis of the training received in every classroom throughout your four years at East Hartford High. Remember these lessons and be vigi- lant against the forces of materialism which seek to ensnare today's young people. Keep faith with your moral convictions and you shall be successful in claiming the promises of the future. Let us hear often of your progress. Our interest never wanes. You are establishing the pathway for those who follow. Sincerely yours, Edward M. Dillon Principal EDWARD DILLON Principal wa? Ruth Clarke OFFICE STAFF 7 O36 Br OW f7
