STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council, the governing body of the school, is a representative organization created for the welfare of the school. If there are any problems that arise within the school the Student Council at- tempts to settle them in the best way possible. The Student Council is supervised by Mr. Layser who has helped greatly in the solving of the problems of the school. A few of the many notable achievements of this year's Student Council are: 1. Aiding in the passage through the halls. 2. Helping to keep the auditorium orderly during the noon hour. 3. Regulation of assembly programs. 4. East Greenvi1le's initial attendance to the tri-county meetings. The members of the Student Council are as follows: Senior Class: Richard Wolf, Presidentg Shirley Reed, Secretary, Leroy Stevens, Treasurer: Grace Richards, Paul Barshinger.
