GIRLS' BASKETBALL The Greenie Sextet had indeed a very successful season this year. Capably coached by Mrs. Moser, they won the championship of the Upper Montco League. Contrary to previous years, most of the games were played after school. There were quite a few close and exciting games. However, the most exciting game was that played with Pennsburg to determine the championship. The score was tied at half, but the superiority of the Greenie team came forth to win by a good margin. Much skill and determination was displayed by the team in all games. The cooperation of the team mem- bers was also a very commendable factor. Although many of the team members will be lost by graduation, a spirited group promises to take their places next year, Those who will be lost by graduation are as follows: Captain Betty Freed, Ruth Elaine Freed, Shirley Reed, Mary Lou Zwoyer, Nancy Kern, and Doris Christman, The regular members of the team were as follows: Betty Freed, Ruth Elaine Freed, Eleanor Rothenberger, Mary Lou Zwoyer, Shirley Reed, and Helen F ircz.
