Kurtz To the Class of 1948: According to recent statistics young people under 25 years of age are responsible for more traffic accidents than older folk. This indictment on a class of people Whose reaction time should be the most rapid and who thereby should be able to apply the mechanical devices soon enough to avoid mishaps, is serious. It seems to indicate judgment too far out of the way in the first placeg or does it mean that youth thinks more of indulging in thrills of speed and dare-deviltry than ol preserving human lives? l hope that through your experiences in the classrooms of East Greenville High School you have developed the attitude of think- ing honestly and cautiously before taking action of any kind.
