These newspapers contain the lat- est in school news, comments made by students on timely subjects, poetry, and other writings submitted by stu- dents. This year the Flaming Arrow Staff has sponsored the Hot Legs Contest and allowed students to purchase space for their Christmas and Valentine's Day mes- sages. The staff works closely with their advisor, Ms. Tay- lor for ideas on the best way to convey East Gaston news for the most reasonable price. The Flaming Arrow staff collab- orates on ideas for the next edi- tion. Struggling for the most concise, effective words to use in an arti- cle is the main concern for Tammy Ford. Diligently editing and re-editing is a job for the staff and their advisor, Ms. Taylor.

This is achieved by teamwork, working overtime and a lot of patience.
