VICA Has Car Wash to Help Needy Families The VICA Club is a club which con- tributes to others. For example, the members have had many car washes to raise money for needy families. The drafting, car- pentry and auto mechanics classes are sending several people to VICA Club contests. The main purpose of the East Gaston chapter of IMC is to provide the students with the latest method of leader- ship development and man- agement training. This is done by having top speakers, problem solving exercises, and the exchange of ideas. The club is affiliated with the Gaston chapter of IMC and helps with the YMCA through volunteer work and fund raising. East Gaston hap- pens to be the first high school ever to start a chapter, and hopes are high that it will be very successful.

FHA Members Improve Homemaking Skills Through Practice The Future Homemak- ers of America sold cook- books this year to add equipment to the depart- ment.
